I hate the fact that motorcyclists are limited to GPS (usually overpriced) units made specifically for bikes. Of course, its mainly because they're waterproof. Well, looks like the geniuses at RAM MOUNTS have a solution....the Aqua Box. They come in 4 sizes and will keep ANY GPS dry.
Whats cool now is that for someone like me, who just wants basic features, but a 4.3" screen, I could buy (for example) a Garmin Nuvi 250W for less than $200 and keep it dry. Plus, they have a clear Flex-Lens allowing you to press and operate the buttons of your device, when in the Aqua Box. The boxes are about $35 and will be available at the end of March.

My wife went to Costco online and bought the Garmin 360 for her MINI for only $250. That was a fantastic deal for a bluetooth Garmin GPS

I have one for my Ipod, They will keep the water out but if your lil toy have a hard drive foregetaboutit on a Vstrom or most bikes. I like a bag and a zip tie for my RD works good and I did not pay for it LOL..

Yes, hard drive is no good for a vibrating bike. However, this at least allows you alot more choices than the 2 or 3 you have now.

Just get a ZUMO and not worry about it. You will have everything in one spot, music, weather, traffic, Sat. who needs a stinken plastic box. LOL

27XX will do the same for a lot less and it's a car/bike gps......
