Okay so with everyone wanting more rides and camping ideas for the summer time I've been thinking about hosting my own event at my house. For those of you who've NOT been to my place I have approx 2 acres with about a 1 acreback yard with a nice Fire Pit for Tammy to get as carried away as she wants. Only difference is I do have one rule with my fires. No Smelting of Metal or Glass. I personally dont like breathing Toxic Fumes.
My plan is to make this a 2 day event. Saturday will be a Truely Dual Sport Event for the VSTROMS with like a Poker Run Theme to keep it interesting and make sure everyone completes the course. NO You wont have to put knobbies on your bike. Yes you will be able to ride it 2 up.. I;m talking some really good twisties maybe a little gravel/dirt roads all Fun Stuff for eveyone. Even JoJo can take her Ninja on this ride if she wanted.
Sunday will be a different story. Put on all the gear you own and come out for a high speed high adventure Off Road 100 mile Loop. Yes we will be pirating some of our route so you go like hell and get out of dodge before you raise any flags. If you want to put knobbies on your strom and ride it. I;ll throw in some bypasses for the really tough stuff and you can meet up at the next trail head.
I've got lots of idea and part of both routes setup now but I still have a lot more scouting to do to put this all together. As for setting up the Food and all I have to start working on that side of things.
NOW FOR DATES!!!!! I still need at least another month to put the routes together. I was thinking early Fall when the temp just starts to drop. I;m in the mountains so its always 10ºF lower than most places around here. So Maybe September. Jennifer and I got Married Sept 22 and had our wedding in the back yard and it was beautiful.. Two weeks prior it was Hot as Hel
l.. 2 Weeks later and it actually spit snow. 
I'd like to get an initial head count of how many takers from our group before I open it up to other ADV riders. Then I think its prolly going to be invitation ONLY!! I dont need this thing getting out of hand.
Oh and Unlike JT. I dont have any Neighbors!!
