We had a great time and an awesome ride Lulo, thanks for putting it together, leading the way and not being "so serious" the whole time.

Jojo and I awoke at 05:30, got home at 19:00, experienced a thrilling 90-100mph sprint to the meeting place, flew through more high paced twisties than one should enjoy in one day, hung out with some folks we haven't seen in a year, met some new faces, got some nice red clay dust on the Wee, ate our young and re-named someone - yes, that's you Bob.

And oh, I also got free gas, and we logged well over 300 miles, and like Rudy had a nice long delicious ride home, all scenic via rte 6, 7 Lakes Drive and Bear Mountain.

The new guys were Joey D (for now, welcome to the site finally, no small thanks to Jorge), Sung (congrats on destroying both of your front turn signals, a good looking Wee you've got there with plenty of good character), Lou- an excellent rider with a killer LED flashing brake light on his Silver Vee, and it's always great to see Bob again, also a great rider with his Honda.

Tammy is an absolute Monster on her near mechanically-destroyed Wee after having owned her WR for a while now-bouncing off the rev limiter in fourth gear, sheesh!

I only flog my Wee on rides with you guys. I never have the throttle at the stop when I'm alone, and I rarely shift at 9K or above, but yesterday it occured on a regular basis.

So, enjoy some photos!

What a gorgeous day we had! The obligatory landscape shot.

Incredible trees and weather and roads oh my!

Rudy's ready to eat, but he misses Reshmi terribly and he could barely handle all that meat in one sitting.

Sung on the other hand had no problem with his delicious looking burger. He'll need the energy for lifting his bike later. He did a great job on his first dirt experience.

The ladies of the trip, aint they cute?

For those who have never seen it, The Piston at work!

This was when visibility was good! Lulo didn't experience any of this sight for some reason.

More dust, dirt and fun. Good shot Jo!

Our rides at Charles Brox Memorial Park, and look, there's Bob!

A Strom-a-licious photo, four flavors to choose from!

Tammy got her ass stuck in a garbage can when nature called. Luckily, Lulo was there to extract her.

Lulo said we were gonna do a "little power line run", and that's what we did!

Altogether an awesome day, we rode for almost thirteen hours and had a blast!
See you all at JT!
J5, The Piston, and Jojo out.
wow, awesome report and awesome pics....
Sweet pics, that power line was a wake up for me on tires. All I do with the wee is gas and that's it. I had to ride into work this morning and the rear tire is so bad in the rain I had to get a new set... Only bad thing is that is 300.00 I don't have for the WR
J5 great write up and pictures. Thanks for sharing now I feel even worse for missing it. LOL See you at JT
It was a fun day.... You missed a good one..
shite man i should have done the other ride with u guys....i had my curfew starting sometime in the evening i had to leave......now if Reshmi would have been there it would have been a different story.....next time i wil probably ride there and take up a hotel room Smile
thanks J5 for the tail light update....will change the bulb ASAP.....
nice report Johnny! I sent Sung in my stead... look like lots of interesting terrain and lots of smiles when at stops... Love the Captain pics... thanks for posting...
We can all thank Jojo for the action shots, she does a good job, I love the one of the power line ride, and in the dust cloud.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Well put Jorge, there was a lot of smiles at the stops, and a good mix of terrain.
The SSYSO has a habit of attracting some good humored folks, that's for sure.
I wished more Stroms showed up, and maybe a ST1300, but hopefully we get more peeps at JT.

Ride well and ride safe!

J5
